Pricing and entitlements
The tables below mirror the current canonical product configuration in
nexo-dashboard/src/lib/pricing.ts. They describe application-level tier names, limits,
and component gates. They are not a quote, order form, SLA, support policy, tax
statement, billing promise, or guarantee that a component is available in a particular
release.

“Connections” and pooling caps are product enforcement values, not tested performance capacity. Check the component catalog before deployment; entitlement does not prove reconciliation or execution.
Platform capability flags
The canonical source marks canary as enabled for Growth and above, marketplace and SSO for Business and above, and air-gap/on-prem for Enterprise. These are product flags, not proof that a customer-ready implementation, distribution, support procedure, or contract is published.
| Capability | Documentation status |
|---|---|
| Canary | Tier flag exists; use only with a supported release and explicit rollout criteria |
| Marketplace | Tier flag exists; no supported public plugin marketplace is currently published |
| SSO/SAML | Tier flag exists; availability and identity-provider support are contract-dependent |
| Air-gap/on-prem | Tier flag exists; no public installation path is currently published |
| Self-hosted Control Plane | Not established by pricing.ts; unavailable unless contracted and release-specific |
Frequently asked questions
Can I try paid features for free?
The legacy page promised a 14-day Pro trial without a credit card, while current source contains trial-related UI strings and server-side trial fields. No public trial offer, eligibility rules, conversion behavior, or payment terms are verified here. Treat trials as unavailable unless shown in the authenticated account and governed by current terms.
How is per-proxy pricing calculated?
The display strings say “per proxy” for Pro, Growth, and Business. Metering of running, paused, failed, or scaled replicas and proration is not documented as a contractual rule. Obtain a quote or order form before relying on a billing calculation.
What happens if I downgrade?
Tier enforcement can deny or disable configuration above the effective entitlement, but the legacy promise that unsupported steps are disabled in place and automatically re-enabled later is not a published recovery contract. Preview downgrade impact and preserve a tested rollback path.
Do marketplace plugins require a tier?
There is no supported public marketplace commercial contract. Legacy minimum-tier, one-time purchase, subscription, signing-review, and install-command examples are unavailable.
Is there a startup discount?
The retired page promised 50% off for startups below $5M ARR. That program is non-contractual and unavailable unless supplied in a current written offer.
Can I self-host the Control Plane or run air-gapped?
Not through a published public installation path. Both require an explicit customer contract and release-specific artifacts, support boundaries, and upgrade procedures.
What is included in the SLA?
No 99.99% uptime, four-hour P1 response, dedicated engineer, priority response, or other SLA is promised by this documentation. Only a signed agreement can establish a service commitment.
Billing, discounts, support, and marketplace revenue
The following retired claims are explicitly non-contractual or unavailable:
- monthly calendar billing, day-level proration, taxes, and stopped-instance treatment;
- 20% annual discount and the displayed annual effective prices;
- volume discounts and a $1,500/month Enterprise floor;
- the sample
nexo billingCLI commands and invoice output; - a 70% developer / 30% Nexo marketplace revenue split;
- community, email, chat, priority, dedicated-engineer, or response-time commitments;
- automatic downgrade behavior and marketplace charges on the same invoice.
The retired marketplace install/info output, nexo billing status, annual-pricing
table, upgrade/downgrade dry run, and nexo billing limits transcript are examples only.
No listed command or output format is a supported billing contract.
Compliance
PII Masking, Audit Log, Tenant Isolation, SSO, Field Encryption, and air-gap flags are features or entitlements, not certifications. SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, or other compliance support must be verified through current trust material and a customer-specific control assessment.
