Pricing and entitlements

No immutable 0.2.0 public price sheet, order form, billing policy, trial terms, support policy, or SLA is archived in this documentation. Current pricing.ts remains the canonical source for today's tier names and minimum component entitlements, but its prices, limits, and post-0.2 capability flags must not be presented as historical 0.2.0 availability.

Growth has the same canonical component set as Pro; Business adds Tenant Isolation; and Enterprise adds Field Encryption. That entitlement mapping does not make the unavailable 0.2.0 components executable.

Current limits are not a 0.2.0 price sheet

The current source defines Free, Pro, Growth, Business, and Enterprise limits for Proxy instances, steps, connections, projects, environments, retention, and pooling. Those values may explain current Control Plane enforcement, but this immutable page does not claim they were offered, billed, or contractually available with 0.2.0.

In particular, do not attribute current canary, marketplace, SSO, air-gap, on-prem, self-hosted management, advanced pooling, or capstone flags to the 0.2.0 runtime.

Frequently asked questions

Was a 14-day trial included?

Not established by the immutable release record. Legacy UI copy and server-side trial fields are not offer terms.

Was pricing per running Proxy?

Not established. Stopped-instance treatment, replica metering, proration, and invoice rules require a contract.

What happened on downgrade?

0.2.0 entitlement enforcement could reject unsupported configuration, but automatic disable, preservation, and later re-enable behavior is not a published recovery contract.

Was a marketplace available?

No supported 0.2.0 public marketplace was published. Sample plugin cards and CLI examples were demonstrations only.

Were startup, annual, or volume discounts available?

Not established. The legacy 50% startup discount, 20% annual discount, annual price table, and volume examples are non-contractual.

Did Enterprise include self-hosting, air-gap, or an SLA?

Not through the public 0.2.0 release. A self-hosted Control Plane, air-gapped distribution, 99.99% uptime, four-hour P1 response, dedicated engineer, and compliance support require explicit written terms and release-specific artifacts.

Other unavailable commercial claims

Calendar-month billing, daily proration, taxes, the sample nexo billing output, marketplace one-time or subscription purchases, a 70/30 developer revenue split, and community/email/chat/priority support commitments are not part of the verified 0.2.0 documentation contract.

The marketplace install/info transcript, billing-status output, annual price table, upgrade/downgrade dry run, and limits output are preserved as retired examples only.

Feature names such as PII Masking, Audit Log, SSO, Field Encryption, or air-gap do not certify SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, or any customer system.

Legacy pricing and billing archive

:::danger Retired UI copy — not 0.2.0 commercial terms

Everything below this warning is preserved solely for parity with the retired dashboard pricing page. The text, numbers, tables, commands, and outputs are not quotes, contracts, offers, invoices, billing rules, discounts, SLAs, support commitments, availability promises, or compliance certifications. They do not establish what was commercially or technically available in Nexo 0.2.0 and do not override the pinned runtime matrix above. Only signed customer agreements and release-specific artifacts are authoritative.

Retired trial and billing framing

The legacy page stated:

  • all paid plans included a 14-day free trial;
  • every new account received a 14-day Pro trial with full Pro pipeline-step and Nexo Cloud access;
  • no credit card was required;
  • prices were billed monthly;
  • annual billing received a 20% discount;
  • billing was described as occurring on a calendar-month basis;
  • billing started on the subscription date;
  • mid-cycle Proxy changes were prorated daily;
  • running Proxies were billed and stopped or paused Proxies were not.

None of those statements is an archived 0.2.0 offer or billing rule.

Retired per-Proxy billing example

# View your current billing summary
nexo billing status

# Output:
# Plan: Pro
# Proxies: 3
# Monthly Total: $237.00 ($79.00 × 3)
# Marketplace: $18.00 (2 plugins)
# Next Invoice: 2025-02-01
# Payment Method: Visa ****4242

Retired annual-pricing table

TierMonthlyAnnual effective monthly priceClaimed savings
Pro$79$63$192/year
Growth$179$143$430/year
Business$249$199$600/year

These were described as 20% annual-discount values. They are not 0.2.0 prices or offers.

Retired downgrade and upgrade behavior

The legacy FAQ claimed that downgrade automatically disabled above-tier components, preserved their configuration, continued the pipeline with entitled components, and re-enabled preserved configuration after a later upgrade. Upgrade made new components selectable but did not automatically add them.

# Upgrade to Business tier
nexo billing upgrade --tier business

# Downgrade to Pro tier
nexo billing downgrade --tier pro

# Preview what changes when downgrading
nexo billing downgrade --tier pro --dry-run

# Output:
# Current Tier: Business
# Target Tier: Pro
# Components Disabled: Tenant Isolation
# Features Lost: SSO/SAML, priority support, higher pooling caps
# Pipeline Status: Will continue running with Pro-tier steps only

This is not a supported 0.2.0 entitlement-transition or recovery contract.

Retired startup discount

The old FAQ offered 50% off paid tiers to startups below $5M ARR after proof of revenue. No such 0.2.0 program is established by this archive.

Retired self-hosted Control Plane and air-gap claims

The old FAQ said Enterprise exclusively included a customer-hosted copy of the complete Nexo Cloud feature set, air-gap support, and custom SSO/SAML. Its matrix stated:

FreeProGrowthBusinessEnterprise
SaaSSaaSSaaSSaaS + self-hosted

Nexo 0.2.0 did not publish those installation paths.

Retired SLA and support claims

The legacy FAQ claimed 99.99% Nexo Cloud uptime and a four-hour P1 response covering the dashboard and APIs, not customer-hosted Proxy uptime.

FreeCommunity support through GitHub Discussions and public Discord
ProEmail support
GrowthEmail and chat support
BusinessPriority support / “SLA”

Retired tier-selection summary

  • Free: evaluation, development, or proof of concept; seven selectable components plus pooling; one Proxy, project, and cluster.
  • Pro: production; 15 components; three Proxies, five projects, and three clusters.
  • Growth: Pro components with five Proxies, ten projects, five clusters, 60-day retention, and 500/10,000 pooling caps.
  • Business: Tenant Isolation, SSO/SAML, priority support, 25 projects, ten clusters, and 2,000/50,000 pooling caps.
  • Enterprise: air-gap/on-prem, unlimited projects, clusters, and pooling, capstone features, and a guaranteed SLA.

The 0.2.0 router and connection phases do not become executable because this positioning copy listed them.

Retired marketplace pricing and installation examples

The legacy page described free open-source plugins at no cost; one-time purchases usable forever on any number of Proxies; and monthly subscriptions billed alongside the Nexo subscription. It also claimed additional plugin charges, developer-selected minimum tiers, review and signing before publication, and a 70% developer / 30% Nexo revenue split.

# Example: Installing a marketplace plugin
nexo plugin install mongo-query-cache --proxy my-proxy

# List installed marketplace plugins
nexo plugin list --proxy my-proxy

# View plugin pricing & tier requirements
nexo plugin info mongo-query-cache

# Output:
# Name: mongo-query-cache
# Author: @cacheworks
# Price: $9/mo per proxy
# Min Tier: Pro
# Installs: 1,240
# Rating: 4.8 / 5

Nexo 0.2.0 had no supported public marketplace. Every artifact, price, command, rating, review, signature, and revenue statement above is unavailable.

Retired compliance-by-tier claims

Tenant Isolation
SSO/SAML
SOC 2 Support
HIPAA / ISO 27001 Support

These claims are not certifications or 0.2.0 execution evidence. In particular, Tenant Isolation's router phase and Field Encryption were not effective 0.2.0 data-path controls.
